Charles Blum ( 1925-1991) of Jacksonville, Florida ,came to San Miguel de Allende in 1950 where he lived for about 10 years immersing himself in the spirit and folklore of Mexico . All of which is reflected in his amazing work. Blum is considered one of the best -kept secrets of American Art. The museum owns five of his paintings.
