Candelario Medrano ( 1918-1986 ) of Santa Cruz de las Huertas, Jalisco was the adopted son of famed toy maker Julian Acero. During his lifetime he created wildly imaginative works including churches, cars, busses , animals and daily scenes. The above example is a burrowing owl.
